Arsenal star makes transfer U-Turn heads to Ligue 1

French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a winter move for Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez as they attempt to beat Manchester City to the forward’s signature, according to the Mirror.

Alexis Sanchez’s current Arsenal deal runs out this coming summer, and that means in about five weeks time when the winter transfer window opens, the former Barcelona star is able to discuss terms with other foreign suitors for a pre-contract agreement.

To replace the potentially outgoing Alexis Sanchez, the Gunners have reportedly been in the market for Paris Saint Germain’s Julian Draxler, meaning the Ligue 1 giants may attempt and sign the Chilean to replace him.

Paris Saint Germain to use the attraction of the beautiful city of Paris to try and lure him away from the grasp of Manchester City.

If Sanchez, 28, were to leave the Emirates Stadium, wherever he goes, he would have stiff competition for a starting shirt, with the French side having the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, and Edinson Cavani.

Meanwhile, Manchester City have the likes of Sergio Kun Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling, and Bernardo Silva.

The Chile international forward would also be able to play in the UEFA Champions League if he were to join either PSG or Man City, only making one UEFA Europa League appearance for Arsenal, netting in the 3-1 victory vs Koln.
