Jurgen Klopp welcome defending premier league champions Chelsea to Anfield on Saturday for their next premier league game.
Chelsea have not beaten the Merseyside club in the premier league for over three years, but will hope to earn all three points from their meeting this time around – as a win is very much crucial to keep their title hopes alive
The West London club will be going into the game with full confidence following their 4-0 trashing of Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Chelsea have been impressive in recent times, and have won their last three matches. Of course, N’Golo Kante’s return from his injury have added more power to his side as he has been able to liberate attacking players such as Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard in the squad.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have been unbeaten in their last five games, although they carelessly allowed Sevilla score three times to share points with them in the Champions League on Tuesday.
In all fairness, Jurgen Klopp has one of the best attacks right now in the premier league but will hope his defense department won’t fumble once more on Saturday.
The German boss will also hope Premier League top goalscorer Mohamed Salah can help him get all three points once more.
However, right back Nathaniel Clyne is still out with a long-term back injury and won’t be coming back to action until next year.
For Chelsea, only Michy Batshuayi and Victor Moses will be missing with injuries.
