Alexis Sanchez closing in on January move as he shows support for club he’s joining next

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has shown his support for Sergio Aguero, with his recent social media post.

The report surrounding the future of Sanchez was one of huge talking points of the summer, with all of Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City having shown interest in the 28-year-old.

A summer deadline day transfer to the Etihad Stadium to join up with former coach Pep Guardiola failed to materialize, mainly because of Arsenal’s inability to sign Monaco forward Thomas Lemar.

As a result, Alexis Sanchez was left with no choice but to remain at Arsenal, though it is still suggested that the South American will depart the Emirates Stadium, either in the New Year for a reduced fee or for nothing in the summer when his contract expires.

Etihad is still seen as his likely destination, despite the Citizens having shown already this season that they are not lacking up front.

Coach Pep Guardiola is said to be a big fan of his talents and attitude, and will likely force the City board to secure a winter deal.

Looks like Sanchez himself want a reunion with his former Barcelona manager, showed his support for Manchester City’s star player this week on social media.

After City star Sergio Aguero scored against Napoli in midweek to become the Skye Blues all-time leading scorer, Man City’s official Twitter account posted a gif, congratulating the forward on his amazing achievement.

The Arsenal star later paid his respects to the Argentine and fellow South American, by liking the twitter post via his personal Twitter account.
