United preparing big offer for this world-class defender
The summer transfer window is already starting for Man United as they are reported to have made up their mind to move in with a huge bid for Italian Serie A outfit Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Red Devils did not participate in the last winter transfer window and they are looking up to this opportunity to strengthen their team ahead of the coming season with the hope that they can challenge for a title next season.
This season did not go as planned for the Red Devils as they struggled at the start under manager Jose Mourinho. The team have now returned to winning ways under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, the Napoli central defender has been identified as the solid player to help cover the defence for the team ahead of the coming season.
Former manager Jose Mourinho had made attempts to secure the signature of the star player but he never had the backing of the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
However, it is reported the Red Devils will tempt Napoli with a huge deal so that they can release the player in this summer window.
Meanwhile, Napoli could demand about £100 million for the signature of the star player.
