Liverpool are one of the premier league clubs keen on getting the signature of Leon Goretzka next year, and they have been linked with the midfielder for some time now.

Last month, there were speculations that the Anfield club may even have an agreement with Leon and could get his signature for something in the region of £36million. It was also said that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on bringing the German player into his team at Anfield next year.

Goretzka will be out of contract at the end of this season and he can agree on a pre-contract with any other club next month.

The 22-year-old has however opened up about his next move and insisted he will make a decision when January comes.

The talented midfielder told the Independent he is trying to take his time to make the best decisions, but that everything will be settled next month.

“The final decision will be made in January,” he said (via independennt.co.uk).

Goretzka has played 11 Bundesliga games for Schalke this season so far and has scored four goals in the process.

He is obviously a young talented player that will add more quality to Klopp’s team, and the German boss needs to do all it takes to lure his countryman to Anfield ahead of the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal who are also said to be keeping tabs on him.
