Why Arsenal, United January business is bad

Arsenal have had reasons not to remember the business deals they had with Manchester United in the last winter transfer window because of the lack of benefits it turned out to be.

The two sides had a swap deal with saw Alexis Sanchez move to the Old Trafford while Henrikh Mkhitaryan left United to join the North London outfit.

However, the deal has turned out to be a loss for the two sides as they have both not given their best at the clubs.

The Chile international used to be a sure bet at the Emirate Stadium before pushing on a move away from the Emirate Stadium but that cannot be said of him with suggestions that he has lost his mojo.

For Henrikh Mkhitaryan he has not handed enough solid performance to the North Londoners, making his addition none-effect.

Former Arsenal player Paul Merson who spoke on the performance of the two players stated that he hopes to see the old Alexis Sanchez again, stressing that the hunger and confidence the Chile international is known for has been lost.

Another Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas who spoke on Henrikh Mkhitaryan stated that the former United man used to be a clever footballer but that cannot be said of him again.
