Lyon president speaks on Chelsea linked with Liverpool’s target
With few hours to the end of the transfer window, Chelsea FC have been making some final finishing as they hope to welcome new players to Stamford Bridge any moment from now.
Chelsea seems to have found a replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who will be moving to Real Madrid as they have brought in Kepa Arrizabalaga as the new goalkeeper to replace him.
The Blues have paid the release clause of £71m to sign Kepa and he has completed his move to Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
Another player the Blues have been linked with is Lyon player, Nabil Fekir.
Prior to Chelsea showing interest in the £53 million rated player, Liverpool was close to signing him but Klopp led side had dropped the deal owing to a knee injury on the player and the Reds were not willing to pay that much to sign him.
But the Blues, on the other hand, are keen on signing him but it looks as if things might not work out the way they had planned it as Lyon President, Bruno Genesio, disclosed that Nabil Fekir has resumed for training and his happy at the club.
