United out-of-favour defender set to agree deal

Emerging reports claim that Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmain is set to agreeing on a deal that will have him return to the Italian Serie A to join defending champions Juventus.

According to the reports, an offer would be tabled for Matteo Darmain before the end of this January winter transfer window.

Matteo Darmain would have left the Old Trafford in the last summer but a deal failed to work through as an agreement was not reached with Man United.

The Italy international was a major part of the Red Devils team during the reigns of manager Jose Mourinho but that has since changed his the sack as he has not been favoured by the interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Having had limited playing time this season, Matteo Darmain is keen to find his way out so as to be able to secure more playing time elsewhere.

Since December, Matteo Darmain has seen just one minute of play and that is obvious that he is no longer in the plans of the club.

Suggestions are that the Red Devils will not block the way of the Italy international in his potential move away especially if the right bid is submitted by the Serie A champions.
