Portuguese champions Benfica want to keep forward Joao Felix despite the interest of several European clubs in his signature.
Joao Felix has had a breakthrough season at Benfica after the teenager justified his spot in the starting XI with several impressive outings for the Portuguese giants.
The 19-year-old has been attracting the interest of a lot of European clubs including five-time European champions Liverpool.
Joao Felix recently signed a new contract at Benfica to take his release clause to the €120m mark but his club wants to increase it to €200m according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Apart from Liverpool, other clubs that have shown interest in Joao Felix include French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG), English Champions Manchester City, Five-time European champions Barcelona, Italian Serie A giants Juventus and many more.
Earlier reports claim that Liverpool had a big money move rejected for Joao Felix.
It was revealed that the Reds had a £61m bid rejected for the young Portuguese forward.
Joao Felix is widely regarded as the heir apparent to the throne of Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The young attacker previously talked about how the aforementioned Ronaldo is his idol and this could be a determining factor in a future transfer with Juventus also interested in him.
