Lacazette condemns Aubameyang from beating Henry’s Arsenal record

Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette is not ready to accept the comparison teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his countryman and former Gunners, Thierry Henry.

Aubameyang had joined Arsenal in January, scoring 10 goals in 15 games for the North London side. His entire goals were extended to 16 altogether in the 5-1 win against Fulham.

His stylish goals and pattern of play has, therefore, ensured he is compared with the club’s legend who is one of the record scorers in Arsenal history.

Unlike the Gabon international, Henry had scored only 5 goals for Arsenal in his first season but went ahead to becoming the club’s highest goal scorer and Aubameyang has 212 goals to score before matching the record.

That seems unbelievable for Lacazette who is not ready for the comparison and he gave his humble reasons for that.

The French striker noted that Henry came to Arsenal at a younger age than Aubameyang who is already at a top level and might not have the time and years Henry had to score more goals.

Describing Aubameyang as his brother, Lacazette says he is positive his brother will score as many goals as possible at the Emirates Stadium.

However, the French man is more positive about the team’s spirit and togetherness which he wants to continue.

What makes me happy about Aubameyang aside goals, Emery
