What people fail to understand about Mourinho, Cambiasso

Former Inter Milan player Esteban Cambiasso has spoken differently of the embattled Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho.

Cambiasso was one of Mourinho’s favourite when they worked together as a player and manager at the Italian side and won the treble in 2010 before the Portuguese left for Real Madrid.

The Italian thinks he understands Mourinho well to believe the speculations of his rift with players and losing the dressing room.

He told Sky Sport that Mourinho has not lost the dressing room and has a decent relationship with players like Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez, against what is being reported.

Cambiasso made it clear that Sanchez would not have come in the game as a tactical one if he had an issue with his boss.

The former Argentine argued that the former Chelsea boss remains a great tactician who has his ways of making the difference by having the eye for details and focusing on the right issues.

He asserted that Mourinho cannot be moved or distracted by the controversies that surround the team.

However, United boss have thrown their support behind the manager, assuring him that he will not be sacked but will be handed more time to turn situations around.
