Carabao Cup! Chelsea Injury update vs Liverpool

The Carabao League will take place on Wednesday with Chelsea playing host to the current toppers on the EPL table, Liverpool.

According to coach Sarri Maurizio, the match is going to be a difficult one for the Blues.

The Italian coach confirmed he might change his entire first eleven squads or at five players.

Well, Chelsea are already down with two Senior team players, none of the two are likely to feature in a match against Liverpool on Wednesday.

Injury Update

The most recent Blues player to sustain an injury is Antonio Rudiger.

The Chelsea Center back defender suffered an injury during the weekend match against West Ham in East London.

Gary Cahil had come on board to take his place during the match.

According to Sarri Maurizio in a post-match statement, the injury was not so serious as Rudiger may only be out for two to three days.

So, he is likely not to play for Chelsea when they take on Liverpool on Wednesday but he may return for the EPL game against Liverpool during the weekend.

Another Blues player on the injury list is, Pedro.

The Spain International sustained an injury during the game against PAOK in Greece but he is likely to return this week.
