Manchester United extend contract of £150,000 per week Juan Mata

Manchester United and Spain midfielder, Juan Mata, has earned himself a contract extension.

This comes after his performance for the Red Devils especially at the Preseason tour in the United States.

Although, Manchester United games have majorly ended in a draw but the Spain international has been at the forefront and a key player in the team.

Juan Mata took up the lead position before the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in the International Championships Cup.

The midfielder who has just one season to go with Man United have gotten his contract extended by 2 years as no offer came for him.

This means Mata will be at Old Trafford till 2021 and may eventually end his football career with the Red Devils as age is no longer on his side.

New report have made it known that Juan Mata may end up among the starter team that will play against former EPL champions, Leicester City in the opening of the 2018/19 season in August.

But should Man United gain their full team and strength back, the Spain international might not get more playing chances and in most cases will have to play from the bench.
