Transfer news: Box-to-box midfielder ordered by his club to sign for Chelsea

Jorginho Ordered by his club to sign for Chelsea.

Clubs across Europe are not distracted about the summer transfer window with the ongoing World Cup in Russia.

In the premier league, there have been a lot of big news recently. One of the latest is the sack of Antonio Conte, and the signing of Jorginho by Chelsea.

Conte has officially departed Stamford Bridge and the London club have replaced him with former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri.

Sarri has reunited with Jorginho at Stamford Bridge after the talented player signed a five-year deal with the West London club.

However, there are certain claims that Napoli actually forced the player to move to Stamford Bridge over Manchester City.

The Mirror are insisting that the Serie A club threatened to make the midfielder complete his remaining two years in the Serie A if he failed to join the London club.

Pep Guardiola’s side are reportedly not happy with Napoli for not sending Jorginho to the Etihad, but selling him instead to West London.

The premier league champions believed the midfielder was forced into going to West London when his preference was to come to Manchester, and they feel Aurelio De Laurentiis is the one who held Jorginho back from City.

Jorginho is a talented player who will definitely add more power to his new side.
