Man United Receive Massive Boost After Club Reject Rivals’ Approach

Fabinho

Manchester United have received a major boost in their pursuit of AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho following reports that the club won’t sell to rivals, Paris Saint Germain.

The Ligue 1 champions have been raided this season on few occasions as major clubs in Europe circle to sign stars from the side who stunned everyone with their brilliant performances.

Bernardo Silva has joined Manchester City and the likes of Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko are all facing the exit door.

Fabinho is believed to have told AS Monaco of his decision to leave the club this summer, with reports that the Ligue 1 side will not stand in the way of a possible transfer.

Manchester United were said to have held talks with the player and are keen on adding him to their ranks this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are also vying for Fabinho and have submitted a bid worth £39m which was promptly rejected by Monaco who are not keen on allowing the star leave to join a direct rival.

Prior reports suggested United are already nursing the fear that they might have lost another target this summer, following their failure to secure a deal for Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic before the set deadline.
