Deal almost done as Jurgen Klopp meets £62m-rated star player

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has met with Nabil Fekir over a possible transfer to the Merseyside club, according to reports in France.

Liverpool desperately want Fekir

French publication Canal+, as cited by The Sun, is claiming that the Reds want to land the Lyon skipper in the summer window.

The same article says that the Merseysider’s have reached a £62million agreement with Lyon to complete the signing of the 24-year-old when the season ends.

As per the same report, the Liverpool boss has met with the player to discuss a possible transfer to Anfield at the end of the season.

Fekir to replace Can at Anfield

The 18-time Premier League champions are speculated to have offered him a five-year contract to sign a potential replacement from German international Emre Can.

The German will become a free agent this summer amid rumour of interest from Juventus.

Liverpool will take on Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final this month after a 7-6 aggregate victory against Serie A side Roma.

The Merseyside giant signed Dutch international Van Dijk in a £75million deal from Southampton FC in the winter transfer window.
