Chelsea prepare £100m summer spree as talented Blues stars’ futures thrown in doubt

Chelsea could allegedly raise £100million from player offload this summer transfer window with a couple of their loan stars and fringe players facing uncertain futures at the club.

Massive exodus expected in the summer

With Champions League qualification next season looking very unlikely for the Blues, it seems as though Chelsea may have to offload before they can recruit in the next window.

The Blues’ loan policy could pay high dividends here, however, with Chelsea having a lot of players they could ship for good fees after stints away from the side.

As per the Telegraph, players like Kenedy, Michy Batshuayi, Danny Drinkwater, Kurt Zouma, Lucas Piazon, Marco van Ginkel, David Luiz and Pedro could be heading out this summer transfer window.

Fringe players to be sold

None of those look likely to be regular starters for the blues any time soon, so selling them now could make sense if it helps raise money to re-invest some world class footballers who could truly improve the team.

According to the Telegraph, 2017 Premier League champions Chelsea have been linked with an interest in Anthony Martial of Manchester United, who could be a famous addition, though other top teams are also allegedly in for him.
