Borussia Dortmunds prepared to launch bid for Michy Batshuayi

German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund will allegedly attempt to complete the permanent move of Chelsea attacker Michy Batshuayi in the summer transfer window after his superb start to life on loan with the side.

Superb start to life in Germany

The Belgium international striker has scored three goals in his first two matches for the German giants, showing Chelsea boss Antonio Conte what he is capable of doing after barely getting a chance at Stamford Bridge.

Despite a good scoring record in a short playing time, the striker could not cement himself as a regular starter for the Blues even in the absence of Spain international striker Alvaro Morata through injury problems in recent weeks, leading to him joining Borussia Dortmund and to Chelsea signing France international striker Olivier Giroud from North London outfit Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

Chelsea’s most in-form striker

Still, this seems a mistake now as the striker makes a good start in the Bundesliga, looking, ironically, like the blues’ most in-form forward right now.

Unsurprisingly, this has led the German side to be interested in making his switch permanent in the summer transfer window, as per the London Evening Standard.

The 24-year-old striker had a good record at former side Olympique Marseille and just looks like a footballer who needs to be handed regular playing opportunity to score goals.
