Deal close – £50m-rated creative midfielder to agree Arsenal terms

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey had a fantastic season last term and the Gunners are keen to secure a new deal with him.

His present contract with Arsenal will run out next summer and he is valued by London Evening Standard at around 50 million pounds. The value will certainly rise once he has penned a new contract.

As per The Telegraph, the North London outfit are close to completing a fresh deal with the Wales international star after holding talks with the midfielder.

The British publication have mentioned that the Gunners are also close to sealing the signing of midfielder Lucas Torreira.

Former tactician Arsene Wenger brought in Aaron Ramsey from his country club Cardiff when the midfielder was a teenager. Over the seasons, Ramsey has excelled pretty well under the French tactician and it will be interesting to see how the midfielder performs under new tactician Unai Emery.

Top quality midfielder
Last term, Ramsey, 27, started 21 Premier League matches for the Gunners and was directly involved in 17 goals, including 10 assists and 7 goals.

Overall, the versatile midfielder featured in 32 matches across all competitive matches, found the net 11 times and created 12 assists.
