Arsenal set to hijack almost £50m-rated Manchester United target

News in the media as of today made it known that Arsenal have open talks to sign Bordeaux star player Malcom.

Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the talented player and he is desperately eager to sign the Brazilian whose valuation is £44m.

As reported by METRO, the Gunners opened talks 10 days ago and they are willing to place a bid next month January transfer.

GOAL also reported that Jose Mourinho needs some creativity to his attack and he is expected to bid for the Brazillian, identifying him as the player capable to deliver but Arsenal have swooped for the Man United target.

This is true as Arsene Wenger is now open to letting Alexis Sanchez leave in January if any club can meet his £35m valuation but he desperately needs a replacement before he can let the Chilean leave.

Bordeaux, would prefer to hold on to Malcom until summer, as they are likely to sell him for a larger fee as reported by METRO, But the French club have claimed they won’t stand in the player’s way if he choses to push for a transfer move in January.

Jose Mourinho recently criticize Manchester United board lack of investment and claimed the money spent since he took over is not good enough.

United’s executive vice-chairman, refused to match the valuation placed on Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic last summer.
