As per new report from English news outlet, Manchester City rival Man United are on the verge to secure a deal for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.
Gomes, 24 signed for the Camp Nou club 2 years ago for a fee reportedly worth around €35m, plus a potential add-on of €20m beating Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus for his signature.
But the star midfielder failed to impress at the Camp Nou, featuring just 17 times in La Liga and scoring just three goals in all competition.
The club willing to sign the 24-year-old are Manchester United, with reports that a deal could already be in place to secure his signature.
Mourinho has been on the lookout to reinforce his midfield, with the Mirror claiming, the former Chelsea boss is on the verge to secure a deal worth £31 million for the services of Andre Gomes.
Gome has been handed only two La Liga start and one Champion League game by Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde in this year campaign.
The lack of playing time for the midfielder at Camp Nou as led to rumours that he could depart the club in January, with clubs lining up to secure a deal.
