Jurgen Klopp Set To ‘Punish’ Salah For Doing This At Liverpool

Liverpool star player Mohamed Salah missed a penalty during his side’s 3-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday, and his manager Jurgen Klopp has suggest he may be seeking for a new penalty taker for Liverpool after the Egyptian’s miss at Anfield.

Salah took over from Roberto Firmino after the samba star missed a penalty against Sevilla some weeks back, and the African player has been doing just fine.

But the former AS Roma player’s effort was easily saved by Jonas Lossl during their 3-0 win in the premier league on Saturday, although his side went on to get a comfortable win over Huddersfield at Anfield.

And Jurgen has now dropped some hints that Mo may be removed as the club’s first-choice taker and has suggested that Daniel Sturridge could be the one to replace the Egyptian international as the penalty taker at Liverpool.

Salah’s last-minute penalty shot was what gave his country a World Cup ticket few weeks ago against Guinea.

But Klopp believes the pressure at Anfield might be bigger for Salah than what he faced during the Egypt World Cup qualifying game, and the German feels Daniel will be the best guy to be given the new role.

Liverpool are set to clash with Maribor on Wednesday night for their next Champions League group stage game.
