Arsenal rebels Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez slammed after Chelsea stalemate

It was a pretty good weekend for the Gunners as they forced Chelsea to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.

Even though they are still in the bottom half of the English Premier League log after five rounds of the campaign.

Most football fans predicted that Wenger’s men would lose to Chelsea at the Bridge on Sunday. That’s after the Blues had won their last five fixtures against Arsenal at home in the Premier League.

But the Gunners forced the Blues to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

And the North London club could have taken the maximum points on another day, as midfielder Aaron Ramsey hit the woodwork and defender Mustafi had a goal ruled offside.

Before the London derby kicked off, Arsenal faithful were fearing the worse after they discovered some stars were left on the bench.

Germany international Mesut Ozil missed the game with an injury, while Chilean Alexis Sanchez was dropped to the bench.

But, former Arsenal defender Martin Keown after the match has claimed that the Gunners may be a better team without the Germany international and the Chile international stars in their team.

Wenger’s men return to action in midweek when they play Doncaster Rovers in the English League Cup.

Next week Monday, the Gunners will play West Brom in the English Premier League at the Emirates.
