This Brazilian Midfielder Is Very Close To Man United Move

AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho is very close to joining Manchester United this summer, according to a reliable journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 23-year-old has been tipped to leave the Ligue 1 giants this summer, following his heroics with the French champions during the last campaign.

Since the end of the season, Fabinho has been a subject of interest from quite a number of clubs in Europe, with Premier League clubs being the forerunners in the potential deal.

Manchester United and their local rivals, Manchester City were believed to have approached the versatile player about joining them this summer as both managers begin their plans to better the chances next season.

However, recent reports have it that United might have beaten City to the signature of Fabinho, with reports that Jose Mourinho has spoken with the player, who is eager to play in England which has also sparked suggestions that the player has agreed on personal terms to move to the Old Trafford this summer.

According to a reliable journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United have entered negotiations with Monaco over the sale of Fabinho and a transfer fee around £44million is being discussed by the two clubs. It is also understood that United will also have to pay performance-related bonuses for the midfielder.
