Confirmed – Arsenal Swoop In To Sign £30m Rated Powerhouse Ahead Of Man City

Arsenal have joined Manchester City in the pursuit of Juventus defender Alex Sandro this summer, according to reports.

The 26-year-old’s reputation has soared all over Europe due to his heroics with the Italian giants in the Serie A and the Champions League. The left-back who joined Juve from Porto in 2015 has turned out to be an ideal replacement for Patrice Evra who left the club for France.

Reports in The Sun claim that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will make a move for Sandro this summer but will have to deal with competition from Manchester City who are also after the Brazilian.

It is understood that the left-back could cost a fee around £30m and Arsene Wenger is set to pay the price as he looks for viable option at the position due to their lack luster performances from the due of Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs this season

Although, Juventus will be reluctant to let one of their priced assets leave without a fight, Sandro has been a standout performer under Massimiliano Allegri this season and there are reports that he might reward the Brazilian with a new contract with significant pay rise in order to fend off interest from Arsenal and Manchester City.
