£34million forgotten Arsenal target in talks with European heavyweights after fall out with boss

Premier League giant Arsenal could miss out on bringing in Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.

As per Turkish publication Fanatik, the Turkey international midfielder could finally return to his former team Galatasaray.

Arda Turan, 30, hasn’t played for Spanish La Liga giant FC Barcelona in the league since the appointment of boss Ernesto Valverde as coach.

As per the news outlet, the Istanbul club are in talks with the Catalan club and want to bring in Turan on a short-term transfer.

Meanwhile, a source close to the star midfielder recently disclosed to Turkish-Football that the Turkish star would only consider the English Premier League if he is to depart Barcelona.

National team coach of Turkey Mircea Lucescu confirmed in October that the Gunners have already tabled an offer for Ardan Turan

I [Mircea Lucescu] spoke to [Ernesto] Valverde, the Gunner made Arda [Turan] an offer,” Ernesto Lucescu told newsmen.

“Ardan [Turan] was close to joining Arsenal this summer window but it did not materialize.”

Ardan Turan has about three-years left on his deal with Spanish La Liga giant Barcelona.

The 30-year-old midfielder made seven assists and netted 13 goals in 30 matches for Barcelona last campaign. Ardan Turan made the switch to FC Barcelona for £34m from Atletico Madrid in 2015.
