4-2-3-1 Formation, Martial Starts In Man United’s Probable Line Vs Bournemouth

Considering that Manchester United have successfully won their last six games in all competitions, they deserve to be considered favorites to make it seven wins on a straightaway when they face Bournemouth in their next Premier League game on Saturday afternoon.

The Old Trafford club are just one point behind Liverpool but nevertheless have a game in hand and should take advantage to over take their arch rivals.

And as far as Manchester United’s team news is concerned, the trio of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Phil Jones and James Wilson are out injured at the moment. However, according to PhysioRoom, the English defender has a little chance of featuring when they clash with the Cherries.

Veteran midfielder Michael Carrick started the EFL Cup final game on the bench and so can be expected to return to the starting XI at the weekend. And we expect Carrick to partner Herrera in the center of the park.

Frenchman Paul Pogba is likely to move in to the No. 10 role and partner with the likes of Martial and Mata in the attacking midfield just behind Swede hugeman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Here is Manchester United’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI when they face Bournemouth.

Goalkeeper – De Gea

DL – Rojo

DC – Bailly

DC – Smalling

DR – Valencia

MC – Carrick

MC – Herrera

AL – Martial

AC – Pogba

AR – Mata

FC – Ibrahimovic

Manchester United Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has been given the responsibility of steering the red devils into the top four this season so as to get a Champions League ticket for next season.

Mourinho took over the realm of affairs at Old Trafford from Van Gaal last summer after the Dutch could only win the FA cup and could not end among the top four on the table.
