Jurgen Klopp’s side are performing very well, thrashing Spartak Moscow 7-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Up next is a premier league game against Everton, and manager Klopp will be leading his men into the game with full confidence following the midweek game.
Everton were impressive last season, winning a ticket to play in the Europa League for this campaign. But things are not going smoothly for them so far this term, and it could get worse if they lose again on Sunday.
But as far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Alberto Moreno picked an injury during the Champions League game on Wednesday, and won’t be participating in this weekend’s premier league game.
Although his most preferred formation is the 4-3-3 system, Klopp chose to use a 4-4-2 against the Russian side this week, and we all saw what happened.
We are expecting him to make use of the 4-4-2 system against the Toffees, and we also expect to see a similar result to what we saw on Wednesday.
With Mignolet in-between the sticks and Robertson replacing Moreno, here is Liverpool’s strongest possible XI against Everton.
GK – Mignolet
DL – Robertson
DC – Klavan
DC – Lovren
DR – Gomez
ML – Countiho
MC – Can
MC – Henderson
MR – Mane
FC – Firmino
FC – Salah
