Chelsea star David Luiz has fallen out of favour at the West London club, with reports suggesting that he could be prepared for a departure to join Champions League winners Real Madrid.
Luiz, 30, hasn’t played in the last five English Premier League matches, with Don Balon, via The Express, claiming that the Brazilian had a bust-up with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte a month ago after questioning the former Juventus manager’s tactician.
That stance has not gone down well, while injury problems have hampered him also ahead of what seems to be a parting of ways in January with the Italian tactician giving the green light to the transfer, according to report.
Including the fact that Denmark international defender Andreas Christensen has performed so impressively in the heart of the Blues defence, it has raised lots of concerns over the defender’s future at the West London club.
It’s claimed that Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are keen to take him to the Santiago Bernabeu, where he will most likely be paired with Spain international defender Sergio Ramos.
The Brazil international defender was a prominent figure in the Blues English Premier League title victory last campaign after returning to Chelsea after his stint at French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain.
