Reds Defender Undecided Over Future Despite Interest
Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno is yet to make a decision about his future amidst the numerous interests in his services.
The 26-year-old is almost certain to leave the Reds at the end of his current contract with the club next summer with the Merseyside giants not keen to offer him a new deal.
He has six months left on his present Liverpool contract meaning that he can start to speak with foreign clubs about a potential free transfer move as from the start of the New Year.
French newspaper L’Equipe has previously talked about the interest of Ligue 1 giants Marseille.
L’Equipe has now returned with the news that the Spanish international left-back has not made a decision on the interest of Marseille and other clubs.
It was further revealed that the Europa League campaigners are desperate for the Spaniard to sign for them during the upcoming January transfer market.
Marseille are in the market for a quality left-back to rival first-choice Jordan Amavi whose form has been largely unconvincing lately with no backup option to compete for a first-team place with him.
Apart from last season’s Europa League campaigners, Alberto Moreno is attracting the interest of clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona and former club Sevilla.
