What Unai Emery said after defeat from Man City will shock you

English Premier League outfit Arsenal boss Unai Emery has cried for help after seeing his side suffer a 3-1 defeat to defending champions Man City on Saturday evening.

The North London outfit are now sixth in the Premier League table after long-term rivals Man United recorded a 1-0 win over Leicester City earlier on Sunday.

The Gunners manager Unai Emery has been given the mandate to return the club back to a Champions League football and that seems to be very difficult as he has failed to win the game.

Should Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League, it would be the third consecutive time they will be missing out of the Champions League tournament.

While admitting that the whole scenario looks difficult, Unai Emery is positive that all hope is not lost as the table can be turned around in coming weeks.

He, therefore, gave the hint that the coming games will be played with all seriousness and great motivation so as to secure wins and turn the table around.

The Spanish boss affirmed that more work is needed to be done by his team and not be frustrated by the results so as not to pile pressure on the team.

  1. As you are a sports journalist, I can understand why you would think that this information is indeed shocking. Yawn! It’s a fact that all sports journo’s get themselves trapped in a that area of gray between reality and fantasy, never to be able to differentiate between the truth from the untruth. A truely sad effort.
