Wenger ‘hints’ at new destination

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that he will be taking a new job with offers all over but stated that there is no chance he will be picking a job in England.

Giving reasons for his claim, the Frenchman stated that it will be odd for him to return back to England with another team knowing his past relationship with Arsenal.

Wenger spent 22 years as the Gunners’ boss and was made to leave the Emirates Stadium in the summer against his wish. He has since been without a job but from all indications, he will return to being a manager by January.

Speaking at the launch of “The Twinning Project” to Sky Sports, the 69-year-old said he had a good rest and is ready to return to an unknown place because he cannot tell at the moment were his future lies.

Howbeit, Wenger has been linked with a number of jobs, both from clubs and countries including a reported offer from Real Madrid to replace Juen Lopetegui who was recently sacked after losing 5-1 to Real Madrid in the El Clasico clash on Sunday.

Arsenal have since moved on from Wenger with Spanish manager Unai Emery already making his own impression at the club.
