‘Welcome to Emirates’ Arsenal complete transfer swoop for attack-minded defender

‘welcome to Emirates’ Arsenal complete transfer swoop for Joel Lopez.

A new report surfacing online have stated that English football club, Arsenal, have completed a transfer move for Barcelona young defender.

The report disclosed 16 years old Joel Lopez will now play at the Emirate academy as he has the talent of hitting it big if he continues at his current pace.

Arsenal had signed the young player hoping he would turn out to be a star when he is more mature.

Like it aims under former coach, Arsene Wenger, Arsenal is known for breeding raw talents from their young age.

Some of the players who were teenagers at Arsenal academy and made it as stars are Cesc Fabregas and Bellarin.

It is believed that Joel Lopez would go the way of Fabregas and Bellarin as he is likely to get a more playing chance at Arsenal than at Barcelona and could possibly make it to the first eleven at Emirate.

However,  he might end up like Fran Merida, who didn’t make a name for himself despite joining the Gunners via it academy.

But Arsenal fans believe Joel has a better chance and talent to perform than Merida and join the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Bellarin.
