Here Is The United Player Making Man United Win Matches Recently, Legend Reveals

According to new reports, Liverpool FC Legend Steven Gerrard thinks a midfield trio is a far better option for Manchester United following another impressive show from Michael Carrick in their 2-0 victory over West Brom on Saturday evening.

Though United coach Jose Mourinho  began the season with Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini in midfield, he has recently begin using the trio of Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera and Pogba.

With Carrick in the midfield, the red devils have still not lost a game and their win against West Brom saw them pick up three consecutive league games for just the second time this season.

Steven Gerrard, speaking about the Englishman, insists he is now Mourinho’s key man at Old Trafford.

“Jose at the start of the season tried to play Fellaini and Pogba and it didn’t work because Pogba was going forward and Fellaini was very isolated,” he said.

“But now Carrick is the key man.”

Even though United are still sixth in the premier league table, they deserves Kudos for closing the gap on the Premier League’s top four, now four points off Liverpool in second place.

Mourinho’s boys face a trip from Sunderland on Boxing Day before Middlesbrough head to Old Trafford on New Years’ Eve and the team will hope to continue their unbeaten run.
