Last year December, we all thought Liverpool would be the one to run Chelsea closest in the Premier League title race.
Even after beating Man City on New Year Eve, they remained firmly on the second spot.
But after that, the story changed into something not pleasant. The Reds have been kicked out of the EFL cup by Southampton, and also lost to Swansea at home last weekend.
They now sit fourth in the EPL table, 10 points behind title leaders Chelsea.
The Blues have been brilliant this season, from the like of N’Golo Kante in midfield, to Diego Costa up front.
However, Liverpool star player Coutinho is not giving up on the title just yet, and he also voiced his admiration for Eden Hazard and Willian in an interview with Daily Mail
The Samba star admitted that the EPL is a tough league, and his side had a setback against Swansea with that Chelsea are a good team.
“You say Chelsea win the league, but we are giving up on nothing. We have to fight for the title, this season and the next season.
“I like Eden Hazard and Willian, they are the hardest opponents, but that is the ambition of our club too.” He said.
