Arsenal legend gives Mesut Ozil honest assessment

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has claimed that German star Mesut Ozil may have improved his game for the Gunners recently in a bid to place him in a good position to negotiate a new contract.

The 29-year-old’s Arsenal future has been a continued source of rumour recently after both the playmaker and Alexis Sanchez entered into the last few months of their Arsenal contracts.

The German’s current Arsenal contract will expire at the conclusion of the current season and we’ll wait to see if he will sign a contract extension with Arsenal to keep him in North London.

The World Cup winner has been earning a lot of praise lately for his good performances for the Gunners recently and he was once again performed well during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Premier League Champions Chelsea on Wednesday.

And former Gunner Thierry Henry has finally spoken on one of the longest-running sagas in living football memory.

The former Real Madrid star could play for his club when they return to English FA Cup duty on Sunday with a trip to Nottingham Forest.

The Emirates club have won the English FA Cup in three of the last four years and defeated Chelsea in last year’s final at the Wembley Stadium.
