Southampton vs Arsenal Preview, Team News, Who Will Win?

After being humiliated by Manchester United last weekend at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal will hope to get back to winning ways when they travel to the St Mary’s Stadium to play their next premier league game against Southampton on Sunday.

Playing at the St Mary’s Stadium in recent times has not always been easy for Arsene Wenger’s side, but the French boss will hope his side can earn all three crucial points from the game like they did last term.

Going into the game this weekend, Wenger will also hope his men can convert their chances into goals, and not stage a replica of what happened against the red devils last time, where they scored just one goal out of a total 33 shots on target.

The Saints, on the other hand, have not been very much impressive this season so far in the premier league. They were only able to win just four games in their opening 15 top flight matches this term.

But they can hope Charlie Austin, who has scored three times in three games, will put up a stellar performance when they host the North London club on Sunday.

However, the duo of Shane Long and Cedric Soares are not likely to participate in the game due to injuries.

For Arsenal also, it was made known that Shkodran Mustafi is a doubt for the clash.
