Ahead of the anticipated summer window transfer, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he wants to sign up to four high quality players when the summer comes.
The former Chelsea manager looks to strengthen his Manchester United squad for the task ahead of next season.
The Portuguese boss spent a superb £150million in his first summer at the Old Trafford club to bring in Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and world record signing Paul Pogba.
And now, the former Real Madrid manager is keen to add more quality to his Manchester United side to help them do lots of laudable things as done when Sir Alex Ferguson was still boss at the club.
On the other hand, since arriving the club, Mourinho has let the trio of Morgan Schneiderlin, Memphis Depay and Bastian Schweinsteiger leave the club for elsewhere.
And the manager is by no means done with the restructuring of his squad and he is expected to be quite busy when the summer transfer window comes.
The stated that they prefer to bring two, three, four players – all good players who have the idea of the football he is playing at Old Trafford, and who can ultimately improve his squad.
And in regards to players he will sell during the summer transfer, he stated that they ‘are not interested in selling six or seven’ and that some players will leave while others will come ‘but only in a very natural way.’
