Revealed! Reason why €80,000 rated star transfer to Chelsea collapsed

Talking for the first time since his collapsed move to Stamford Bridge, AS Roma forward Edin Dzeko has claimed that he feels at home in Italy.

Dzeko focus on Roma goal

In an exclusive interview with Klix, the experienced striker talked about the transfer events over the last few weeks and made it crystal clear that his entire focus is now on assisting his Serie A side to end the season well.

He confirmed that truly, negotiations were conducted but failed to speak further about the topic. The striker confirmed seeing a lot of false and ridiculous speculation about him.

Dzeko flattered by Chelsea interest

He, however, confirmed he is flattered by Chelsea’s interest and said he respect and admires the Blues very much.

The former Premier League striker was expected to join the League holders along with his AS Roma colleague Emerson Palmieri, but only the defender secured a move to West London on transfer deadline day.

He said he is happy to stay at Roma because Rome has become his home and a part of his life.

Personal term dispute

The Bosnia goal poacher was reported to be interested in joining Chelsea, but his wage demands along with his desired contract length proved to be somewhat improbable.

The Blues did sign a striker eventually after giving up their pursuit of Edin Dzeko and brought in from Arsenal Olivier Giroud on winter transfer deadline day.
