Manchester United star player Paul Pogba has taken to social media to express his feelings after his side’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday in the premier league.
The Manchester club were thrashed by Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Wembley – thanks to an early goal from Christian Eriksen and of course, Phil Jones’ own goal.
Paul Pogba was not too active during the game at the Wembley Stadium, but he missed the chance of scoring for his side with his head before the break.
Some minutes later, the French star was seen having a strong argument with his manager, before the Portuguese boss decided to replace him with Juan Mata.
And after the game, the former Juventus midfielder put up a post on Instagram with a throwback photograph that reminded the fans of his first official game in a Manchester United shirt six years ago.
He also said he was disappointed with the loss at Wembley, and promised the fans they will ‘come back stronger’.
Manchester United are still sitting on the second spot of the premier league table, but are only five points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side can move to the third position on the premier league table if they can beat Liverpool this weekend.
