Pundit: This Chelsea Star Will Leave Stamford Bridge This Coming Summer

Former Arsenal man Paul Merson believes Chelsea star striker Diego Costa will eventually leave the Stamford Bridge club at the end of this season.

Costa has been strongly linked with a move away from Chelsea come summer, and the Chinese Super League is believed to be his most likely destination.

It was said that the former Atletico Madrid striker has been offered a bumper deal that will see him go home with £650,000 each week after tax at Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian.

It was also added that the Chinese club are set to pay the newly-crowned premier league champions £75 million for the huge striker.

And pundit Paul Merson, speaking recently on Costa, believes the 28-year-old star will already be packed ahead of the big summer move to China when the summer transfer window officially open.

The former Arsenal player told Sky Sports that going with what was reported in the papers, the Spanish forward will be gone and a superb wage like £670,000 each week is so hard to turn down.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, other fantastic players have been linked with joining Chelsea to replace Costa. Everton star striker Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid center forward Alvaro Morata have been heavily linked with the premier league champions in recent times.
