When Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge at Old Trafford, Manchester United lured a top quality left back in the person of Patrice Evra into the club.
The Frenchman won 5 Premier League titles, 3 League Cups and a Champions League title with Manchester United before leaving the Old Trafford club to join Juventus.
This month, United have been linked with a move to bring back the French defender. However, Corriere dello Sport suggests that Man United only made initial surveys about hiring his services and never showed serious intent.
In the past two seasons, Evra had become a key member for the Old Lady and even won four major titles with them. But things have however changed now as he has mainly warmed the bench and has started just nine games so far. So it is not surprising if the 35-year-old star is looking to leave the Serie A club.
Corriere dello Sport reported that Evra wants to re-join Manchester United and has already rejected an offer from La Liga side Valencia and does not even want to join the likes of Schalke and Palace.
Well, it is very unlikely that Mourinho will move it to sign another Left Back since he already had the likes of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and even Marcos Rojo who can play in the left back position.
So Patrice Evra should forget about moving to Old Trafford again. But he will however most likely have to wait for the end of the season and then decide his future.
