Arsenal are in talks about signing Basel playmaker Mohammed Elneny.

Mohammed Elneny is an Egyptian born player who signed for Basel in 2013 and has won the league cup for the entire seasons.

The fee to sign Elneny is reportedly around €5m and he would definitely need a working permit to play in England.

Francis Coquelin and Santi Carzola are suffering from knee injury, Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger has no choice than to strengthen the central midfield, while Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arterta also had spell on the sideline and Jack wilshere is absent.
