How Manchester United Will Lineup With Alexis Sanchez

According to new reports, Manchester United are interested in signing Alexis Sanchez this month, and they have reportedly made an offer worth £25 million for the player’s signature.

If the Chilean should eventually end up joining Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, how would the Portuguese tactician utilise him in his starting xi?

Sanchez is a versatile superstar who can effectively play anywhere in the attacking third – although he has mainly played on the left wing at Arsenal.

This season so far in 21 games for Arsenal, he has scored 8 times and has provided 4 assists to his teammates.

This season at Old Trafford, the duo of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have mostly played on the left wing – and they are both doing fine.

Jose mainly needs a player who can play behind Lukaku since Mkhitaryan is battling with form. And we expect Alexis to play behind the No 9 if he signs for Man United.

We should expect seeing something like this:

GK – David De Gea
DL – Ashley Young (or Luke Shaw)
DC – Marcos Rojo (or Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof)
DC – Chris Smalling (or Phil Jones)
DR – Antonio Valencia (or Matteo Darmian)
MC – Nemanja Matic
MC – Paul Pogba
AL – Anthony Martial (or Marcus Rashford)
AC – Alexis Sanchez
AR – Jesse Lingard (or Juan Mata)
FC – Romelu Lukaku (or Zlatan Ibrahimovic)
