Manchester United Captured Two Academy Scouts From City

Manchester United are working hard towards bolstering their academy set-up, and the club is moving towards adding more players and scouts.

The Telegraph reported that Dave Harrison and Lyndon Tomlinson have been put on gardening leave ahead of their switch to United on January 1st.

The duo contributed massively in making Manchester City Academy one of the best in the country.

After United’s deal, Manchester City are said to have given new deals to several of their part-time staff, doubling pay to €20,000 a-year.

Nevertheless, at the United Academy, Marcus Rashford is being regarded as the most successful academy graduated United have produced in recent years.

Former midfielder Nicky Butt, in February, was appointed Head of Youth Academy after Brain McClair left the position. Additionally, Marcel Bout had been promoted to head of global scouting at Old Trafford.
