Paul Scholes is one of the players everyone can’t easily forget at Manchester United. The red devils faithful will always remember how the talented Englishman served them for nearly two decades.
Paul was spectacular in the heart of United’s midfield, and ever since he hung his boots, the club are yet to find a perfect replacement for him.
It is obvious it won’t be too easy finding a perfect replacement for Scholes at Old Trafford, but it appears the search is ending soon.
And the player some believed can adequately take Paul Scholes’ place at the Theater of Dreams is Marco Verratti.
The Italian midfielder, who has evolved into one of the best midfielders in Europe, has shown his class at Paris Saint Germain.
Just like Scholes, the £63M-rated midfielder is a superb passer of the ball. He is good at finding his teammates at a distance, bringing about passes that split the opposition.
The Italian is also a passionate player – just like Paul Scholes. He is a determined player on the pitch, always running about to get the ball from the opponents, and always ready to open up a chance for his teammates to score.
A classic player like Marco can never be sold for cheap, and it is glaring Manchester United must splash lots of cash if they are to bring him down to Old Trafford successfully.
