Liverpool vs Man City: Virgil van Dijk reveals how he intends to battle Sergio Aguero

The biggest game of the season in the EPL will be going down at Anfield,  Liverpool battling Man City for the first time this season.

It is already obvious that coach Jurgen Klopp will start his first eleven Liverpool players against Man City tomorrow.

The Netherlands international and Liverpool center back defender, Virgil van Dijk will man the Reds defense line alongside Joe Gomez.

Van Dijk has been very instrumental at Anfield since his arrival, he and Joe Gomez seems to understand each other with the duo conceding only three goals this season.

The Reds £75 million defender has kept the likes of Olivier Giroud and Harry Kane quiet and he is also planning to do the same to Man City 31-year-old striker, Sergio Aguero.

Aguero has not scored at Anfield since 2011 and Virgil plans to keep the record that way.

However, Van Dijk disclosed he has not studied the Argentine striker but he stressed that he will play against him to know how he moves.

The top-rated defender added that he will not only be looking out for Aguero but for every Man City player.

Liverpool and Man City have the same points on the EPL table and obviously, none of them wants to lose a point.

Manager’s prediction! Liverpool do not have what it takes to win the EPL trophy this season
