Real Madrid are reportedly in the race for Roma’s netminder Alisson, who is being linked with a move to Anfield in the summer, and they are set to make a €60m-contract offer for his signature in the summer.

According to two well-known media outlets Mundo Deportivo and Corriere Dello Sport, Madrid are not just interested in the goalkeeper but also aiming to keep him for a very long time as they have tabled a five-year contract offer which will earn him €5m each season.

Alisson is considered as one of coach Zinedine Zidane’s prime target in the summer as he is reportedly willing to overhaul his squad in the summer which could see Kaylor Navas leave Santiago Bernabeu for another club.

Alisson has also reacted to the recognition he’s getting from top European clubs in a chat with Italian press, the Brazilian showed his happiness for getting offers from clubs.

According to him, the offers he receives from other clubs prove that he is doing well with his team and he is progressing in his career.

The Brazilian goalkeeper will be hoping he gets picked up by Brazil national team coach in his provisional World Cup squad so as to compete with Manchester City goalie Ederson for a place in the manager’s starting eleven at the tournament proper.
