Liverpool Made Important Contact With Club To Sign Another Superstar

Liverpool have quality attackers like Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino at Anfield, but manager Jurgen Klopp need more depth and quality in that department after selling Phillipe Coutinho to Barcelona a few days back.

And as far as Liverpool’s transfers are concerned, Arsenal star player Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a move to Anfield.

Sanchez will be out of contract at Arsenal next summer and has refused to put pen on paper for a new deal with the gunners to extend his stay at the club.

The Chilean international has obviously made up his mind to leave Arsenal, and there were speculations that he is keen on reuniting with his former manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City

However, few hours back, popular Chilean journalist Mark Cardenas made it known that Jurgen Klopp’s side have stepped in the race to get the player’s signature.

Mark claimed on twitter that Liverpool have contacted Arsenal for Sanchez, but the former Barcelona player prefers moving to the Etihad Stadium.

From all indications, the South American player will earn lots of money at Manchester City – and perhaps, this is one of the major reason he is pushing for a move towards that direction.

Liverpool on the other hand will obviously need to make a very broad stretch to meet Alexis’ demands.

Apart from this, since Manchester City are firm favourites to win the premier league title this season, the player is aware he can lift the trophy with the citizens at the end of this season if he should join them this month.
