AC Milan star player Suso has been heavily linked with a move back to Liverpool in recent times – and he is back in the limelight as far as Liverpool’s transfers are concerned.
Two months ago, there were reports that the Anfield club are ready to re-sign Suso to replace Coutinho at Liverpool.
Currently, Calcio Mercato reported that the Merseyside club could activate Suso’s release clause to bring him back to Anfield.
The player signed a new deal with AC Milan last September with a release clause of €50M in his contract.
But Liverpool are still in the market for a new talented player to replace Coutinho, and Klopp seems to have identified Suso as a guy he needs at Anfield.
The likes of Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez have also been heavily linked with Liverpool in recent times, and Calcio Mercato added that Jurgen Klopp’s side are yet to make any approach for Suso.
This season so far in 22 games for AC Milan, Suso has scored 7 goals and has provided 9 assists to his teammates.
The Italian heavyweights are still sitting on the 11th spot of the Serie A table, unlikely to earn a Champions League ticket for next season.
Should Liverpool splash €50M to sign Suso?
